When I was a kid...
-I demanded white tights, maryjanes and dresses.
-In kindergarten, I told the teacher I didn't want to go out for recess because I wanted "to stay and learn about dinosaurs".
-I read like a phene.
-I told teachers I wanted to be "an author" and wrote silly stories.
-I loved the Labyrinth and thought David Bowie was the ideal man.
-I actually wrote "The Labyrinth Part 2" one day.
-I used to play "pioneers", house, and dress-up. A lot.
-I was insanely jealous of a girl for drawing a better horse than me.
-The opposite sex paid no attention to me whatsoever.


When I was in middle school...
-I wanted to be Gwen Stefani really bad and wore plaid pants a lot.
-I loved Hanson, Radiohead, No Doubt, Ska music, and Sublime.
-I changed my name to Timber Montague.
-I loved Sailor Moon with a die-hard passion and obsessively collected anything related to anime. I also learned to draw anime.
-I was a really bad student but placed into all the "gifted" classes because of those silly test scores.
-Rachel & I used to have "goth day" meaning that day we would wear all black and fishnets and I would wear these huge industrial boots I had.
-I became a vegetarian one day after eating a McDonald's hamburger.
-The boys still avoided me like the plauge.


When I was in high school...
-I hung out with Liz every day in 9th grade.
-We wrote lots of fan fiction and made webpages, and got in trouble for things we posted on those webpages about people we didn't like.
-I wore lots of pleated plaid skirts.
-I got my eyebrow peirced.
-I got sent to the office almost every day for a dress code violation.
-I got really skinny and everyone thought I was aneroxic.
-I realized I loved art as much as writing.
-I nearly failed 9th grade.
-I didn't do drugs, had only smoked pot like 4 times, and rarely drank.
-All day long, I drew pictures, wrote stories, and traded letters with friends.
-I was obbsessed with Buffy, LJ Smith (vampire love stories), Roswell, Hanson, Smashing Pumpkins, and the tanning bed (I know...wtf??).


Right now...
-I don't ever watch television and it kind of scares me when I do.
-I am obbsessed with music, art, and literature.
-I wear lots of fishnets and the same dirty jeans every day.
-I have dreadlocks that I lovelovelovelove.
-I like wine, coffee, tea, cigarettes, and pot way too much.
-I skip classes to paint or read sometimes. ok a lot of times.
-I obbsess over dreamy boys.
-I follow my heart a lot.
-I love cooking vegan food.
-I don't own a car and instead own a bike.


When I'm "grown up"....
-Hopefully I'll live in a city somewhere.
-I'll be self-employed
-Hopefully I still won't own a car.
-I'll be the crazy mom that doesn't let her kids watch TV.
-I'll adopt asian children.
-I'll walk around naked in front of my family a lot because I'm a hippie.
-I hopefully will still be in contact with the people I love now more than christmas cards.
-I'll have changed something for the better.
-I'll still write and paint.
-I'll cook indian food and make sushi for my family.
-My children are going to have amazing beautiful names.
-Everyone will finally understand.
